MyPanel
MyPanel: the largest online panel in Luxembourg!
ILRES created its very own online panel in 2006. Our panel is a valuable asset and a fast and effective tool for companies and institutions seeking reliable information on opinions, attitudes and behaviour in Luxembourg.
The panel is made up of people who have agreed to receive regular e-mail invitations to take part in online surveys carried out by ILRES or on behalf of its clients.
A reliable panel
The recruitment is mainly carried out on a purely random basis via telephone surveys. Some of the panelists registered spontaneously via the dedicated website https://MyPanel.lu
ILRES innovates in its recruitment methods in order to guarantee comprehensive coverage of the various existing contact methods, while also implementing measures to eliminate fraud, including double registrations.
Find out
At the recruitment stage, respondents are not yet considered active members of our online panel.
When they express the desire to become a member, they receive an invitation email with a link to the first questionnaire, which they complete in order to become a member (double opt-in approach).
This questionnaire consists mainly of socio-demographic questions, of which the answers are stored in our database, so that invitations can be sent out in a manner tailored to the requirements of each survey.
Panel members can update their socio-demographic data at any time via their MyPanel account.
A qualitative panel
With a member number currently approaching 17,500, MyPanel enables representative samples of the Luxembourg population to be created without overburdening panelists. It also includes residents from the “Greater Region” around Luxembourg, enabling studies to be carried out in these areas.
Find out
The socio-demographic data provided during registration allows invitations to be targeted based on criteria such as age, gender, region of residence or nationality.
Comparative tests carried out between the results of the same study conducted using several methodologies (telephone, face-to-face and online) have shown that interviews conducted online via panels such as MyPanel produce robust results that are comparable to those of telephone or face-to-face surveys.
A multi-option panel
An online survey has the advantage of allowing the person to complete it confidentially via an invitation at any time, but it offers many other advantages.
Find out
- Integration of multimedia content (images, videos, sound), particularly useful for pre- and post-advertising tests.
- Invitations sent to panelists at the desired time, for example after an event to be evaluated.
- Possibility of conducting follow-up studies and surveying the same people over several waves.
- Possibility of integrating content (links/pop-ups, etc.) to help respondents understand the questions.
- Questionnaire accessible from many devices (PC, tablet, smartphone) supported by common web browsers.
A quick and efficient panel
A comprehensive study can be carried out extremely quickly using MyPanel. For some conventional large-scale studies, results can be delivered within three weeks of the order.
MyPanel enables participants for discussion groups, semi-structured interviews or citizen committees to be recruited rapidly.
A panel available for “sample only” surveys
ILRES offers partner institutes, with their own programmed questionnaire, the option of carrying out a study on a “sample only” basis, where panelists are invited to respond directly on the client’s platform.
